Working with seniors is a rare treat for me. More often, I’m working with babies and families or expecting mommies. So, I was really excited when this gorgeous senior’s mom contacted me about doing her senior portraits. She was referred to me from a mutual friend whose family I have photographed many times. I knew that we would be great fit for each other right away.

This lovely senior is not only smart and a natural beauty, she is also a great athlete who is heading to Furman to play softball. We made our way around downtown Mooresville, looking for pretty pockets of light and then ended our session at a nearby ball field. I had never shot photos in a ball field before. The location suited her so perfectly and produced some of my favorite shots from the session.

I had so much fun working with her, her mom and her sister (who incidentally is a fellow ADPi…gotta love that!) that I have decided that I need to photograph more seniors! Look for an announcement about a 2017 senior rep program soon.
