This was one of the cute couples that I photographed maternity photos for this past fall and the lifestyle newborn session took place just after Christmas. Lifestyle newborn sessions are different than studio newborn sessions for a few reasons. Most obviously, they are naturally posed rather than posed in props. They take place in your home using natural light rather than strobes/flash. Parents are in 75% of the photos and the focus of a lifestyle session is to capture those sweet interactions between mommy, daddy and baby (and siblings when baby isn't the first). They're simple and sweet and perfect.

I am a newborn photographer located in Charlotte, NC. I offer custom studio sessions as well as lifestyle sessions at home or on location.
