I first met this beautiful Huntersville, NC family in the fall when I photographed their family of 3 (soon to be 4) at the UNCC botanical gardens in Charlotte, NC and I was thrilled when they chose me to document their new baby's first year of life. I just love newborn sessions. I love capturing the little minute details of baby...fingers, toes, eye lashes, pouty lips. I love documenting those first interactions of the new family...parents are typically exhausted yet deleriously happy with their precious little ones. This gorgeous girl was a dream to photograph. As long as her belly was full, she'd fall asleep easily and let me wrap her and pose her with no fuss at all. A couple of times mom and I caught her spying at me through one cracked eyelid...as if to ask "are you still here"? She was a doll. I can't wait to see you at 3 months sweet girl!!
