Charlotte Maternity Session (Uptown) / Huntersville Maternity Photographer

I like to provide my expecting mommies who hire me for their maternity photos with a variety of gorgeous gowns to choose from to make their maternity session really special. I am frequently adding maternity gowns to my collection. 

I recently acquired two beautiful new gowns and asked my gorgeous friend Caitlyn to model them for me.  We shot this session in an uptown Charlotte, NC parking garage with a fantastic skyline view.  It's one of my favorite locations because of the interesting light and patterns and the dramatic view.

The first gown is a floor length ivory lace gown with a wide V neck and fitted bodice.  I love the contradiction of the sweet lace against the backdrop of the city parking lot but it would be equally lovely in a pretty outdoor setting like a garden or field!

The second gown is the prettiest teal color in a soft jersey.  I always feel like teal looks great on every skin tone.  This gown converts from halter to strapless, which is great for getting a couple of different looks.  

As you can see from the photos, Caitlyn is a natural.  She missed her calling on the runways of Paris and NYC but she lives the otherwise more fulfilling family life as a stay at home mother of four beautiful little girls.
