Normally, in January of each year I have a little time to breathe, update my website and blog all of the sessions from the busy summer and beyond. 2019 has been different. It's been strangely busy for the cold, winter season and I've had little time to catch up on the website. Don't get me wrong, I'd always rather be shooting than working on the business side of things.
As much as I'd rather be shooting, as things stack up, I start to feel anxiety and that long "to do" list weighing me down. So, I am committing myself to blog my favorite maternity and newborn sessions from 2018. Hopefully, with a little time each day, I can get to where it is all up to date!
This session was from the summer. We had a pretty HOT sunny day. Beautiful Alex and her hubby Preston braved the sticky humidity and Lake Norman bugs and headed out with me to my favorite "rustic" spot near Lake Norman. At the end of the session, we ventured into the waters (all three of us...yes, those photos are taken by me chest deep!!). The lake was refreshing on that hot summer evening.
I had so much fun that evening and looked forward to meeting their baby girl. Spoiler alert: she turned out to be just as stunning as her momma! But more about that later...
